Through our Distribution Partners, our dehydrated vegetable mix was shipped to Malawi and Haiti. Canadian Food for Children distributes food, clothing, and other items to over 20 different countries, including Malawi.
Although it is very difficult to get aid through to Haiti, after several months our food product was released to its intended destination through Enable Haiti. We are grateful that surplus food produce from Southwestern Ontario can provide aid to people worldwide.
The Southwestern Ontario Gleaners recently held an Open House and BBQ to celebrate their 10th Anniversary. Thanks to amazing volunteers and donors, the SWO Gleaners has progressively increased their production and expects to distribute close to 5 million servings of dried soup mix and apple snacks this year alone.
